May the Lord give you Peace!

This familiar Franciscan greeting expresses the desire we all have for peace; and reminds us that the Lord is the only source of true peace. We are inviting all Secular Franciscans (and any others who may be interested) to come together in prayer for peace.

Instruments of Peace is a project to unite Secular Franciscans in prayer for world peace 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Those who want to participate make a commitment to pray for peace at a regular time each day or week during this time of world crisis. We ask that you commit to at least 15 minutes at the time(s) of your choice, and then begin to pray at those times. Any type of prayer is fine - personal prayer, the rosary, eucharistic adoration, daily Mass....

The SFO Rule (Article 19) calls us to be "bearers of peace which must be built up unceasingly". Please join us in being instruments of peace!
